Through 2025, AI Agents Berlin ran ten events on one question: what can a blockchain give an AI agent that nothing else can? The season put it to one ecosystem after another, staged it at the first AI Agents Summit — 400+ checked in — and handed it to builders at two hackathons. It was too early to find agents running on-chain, but the value proposition became clear early on.
// The event count covers events AI Agents Berlin hosted or co-organised in calendar year 2025, all listed below. The AIS25 figure is the Summit's own check-in count; every other number on this page is Luma registrations, rounded down.
Season 1 introduced AI Agents Berlin as “the city's leading event series exploring the convergence of agentic AI and blockchain.” That line was a hypothesis, not a finding. The season was built to test it: one ecosystem at a time in the spring, all of them on one stage in June, then in front of builders with a deadline.
The Summit split the question four ways — one track each.
Agents that adapt to one person's preferences and context — and the case for that person, not a platform, owning the agent.
Trading agents, yield optimisers and on-chain portfolio management. The first panel asked it outright: “On-chain investing: agents vs. humans — who's the better investor?”
The tools and architectures for building agents in the first place.
Infrastructure for deploying whole networks of agents at scale.

The season opener: applied agents across AI and web3.
Co-hosted with Solana Superteam — one of the season's biggest community nights.
Investing with AI agents — the question the Summit's first panel took up two months later: on-chain investing, agents vs. humans.
The Summit's build sprint, the day before the main stage.
During Berlin Blockchain Week at Circuit (then w3.hub), 10:00–20:00: a main stage, four tracks and masterclasses. Speakers from Masumi, Internet Computer (ICP), NEAR AI, Gnosis, the Algorand Foundation and Livepeer, among others.
The Algorand Foundation's hands-on session on building a dApp: blockchain fundamentals and smart contracts in TypeScript and Python, in the auditorium at 42 Berlin and streamed.
Two days at Circuit (then w3.hub) experimenting with AI tools on Algorand, organised by the Algorand Foundation, AI Agents Berlin and 42 Berlin Blockchain. €5,000 in prizes, including Best AI and Best Blockchain Utility; projects had to be open-sourced.
The hackathon teams regrouped a month later: progress, honest feedback, and the route into the Algorand Foundation's Startup Challenges and accelerator.
The season's last event: up to ten teams, five-minute pitches, then questions from the judges and the room.
// Counts are Luma registrations as shown on each event page, rounded down. From August the Algorand sessions ran on the 42 Berlin Blockchain Luma calendar, co-organised by AI Agents Berlin. Earlier Blockchain × AI virtual sessions are not listed.
Two days at Circuit — then named w3.hub — on 3–4 September 2025: builders experimenting with AI tools on Algorand. 180+ registrations and €5,000 in prizes. One minute, from doors to the final pitches.

In 2025 it was still too early to find AI agents running on-chain. But the value proposition of AI × blockchain became clear early on: an agent can hold and move money on its own, prove who it is and what it has done, and settle with another agent — without a person approving every step.
The first of those — an agent that can pay and be paid — is what Season 2 was built on. It opened on 18 February 2026 with a workshop on x402, an open protocol for internet-native, pay-per-request payments, and spent the next five months on what else an agent needs before it can transact on its own.
One day, 10:00 to 20:00, at Circuit — then named w3.hub — in Kreuzberg: 870+ registrations and 400+ checked in, a main stage, four tracks and masterclasses, with 15+ speakers.

Co-hosts through the year: Solana Superteam, Story, CIB, the Algorand Foundation and 42 Berlin Blockchain. At the AI Agents Summit 2025: Masumi, Internet Computer (ICP), NEAR AI, Gnosis, Algorand and Livepeer. Venues: Circuit — then named w3.hub — and 42 Berlin.
Before Season 1: AI Agents Berlin started in May 2024. Its first events were Blockchain als Enabler für AI? in Hamburg with the Hanseatic Blockchain Institute (30 September 2024), NEAR × AI Agents Berlin (24 October 2024), the first in Berlin, and Gnosis × AI Agents Berlin (28 November 2024, online). The 2026 season takes the question from how an agent pays to how businesses run alongside agents. Next up: ClawCamp Berlin #2 on 5 November, then the Agentic Hackathon on 27 November at The Delta Campus.
